Recent years have seen difficult conditions for the fly angler what with the dry, droughty conditions of 2011 which stayed with us right up until late April of 2012 and were then followed by the unprecedented wet summer of 2012. … Continue reading →

Awesome 3 days thank you Frank
My mind is still racing over just how much I learnt over the last 3 days, feels like a lifetime of experience on the river in just a few days. And has it transferred to my fishing!Rob Wreyford

Thanks for a cracking day yesterday. You have taught me a lot and I’m enthused to keep going. I carried on almost until dark and had a couple of bites but nothing more.Roland

He knows when to step back (when you cast the 3rd fly into the bush behind you), he knows when to offer advice, he knows when to step in and importantly,…Adam Stafford via Email
Thanks for a thoroughly enjoyable days fishing, topped off by some great fish. I learnt so much and looking forward to putting it into practice again on the Usk. Might be tempted to try the Cannop Brook also as a little closer to home.
Thanks for the photo’s.Jamie Dobbs
