Today I spent the day with Danny Williams, of the ADB (Angling Development Board) and Heather, a reporter for Chat magazine at Blenheim Palace. Danny and I where helping Heather to Learn Fly Fishing as part of a promotional piece she was writing about things to do in Oxfordshire.

I had never fished Blenheim before and to be honest I was impressed by the quality of the fish. Heather managed to hook one but unfortunately it got off before she got it to the net.
Danny and my self stayed on for a couple of hour fishing after Heather has left. The most successful tactic of the day was fishing a Catswisker using a very slow figure of eight retrieve. Using this method both Danny and myself had a couple of fish each in the hour or two we fished in the evening.
