Spent a few hours today up on the Upper Honndu , there river was as clear as Gin and the water was ice cold.

I found that the fish where very slow to move in the cold water. There was  a little flurry of action around mid afternoon when there was a brief flurry of Large Dark Olives

Best tactic of the day was to fish the deeper slower pools duo style with a small tungsten headed pheasant tail, hung below a Klinkhammer on a 3 1/2 foot dropper
