Fly Fishing on the River Dore

October 23rd, 2007

I had a couple of hours spare yesterday afternoon so decide to give this short beat a try.
I was not disappointed at all.

I watched for a few seconds but then my curiosity got the better of me and I went to investigate.

This is what I found trying its hardest to get across the pool with out being eaten.
I knackered the pool right up trying to rescue it but at least it was king enough to pose for the camera.

The fishing was good and there are plenty of decent Grayling. On the day they were mostly coming to a GB Caddis pupa.
